Congratulations, it's a Zilla! —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 03:57, 25 October 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Okay, I'm confused. Is this the real Bishonen? – Chacor 07:03, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Proud separate account, grrr! But please see my userpage, check History for great justice, no confusion intended. And I have just moved the post you so rudely deleted, so no worries. (Bishzilla is a learner, and the man doesn't have a talkpage link in his sig!) Bishzilla 07:09, 13 November 2006 (UTC).Reply[reply]
Heh, my immediate reaction was "impostor account", sorry. I think I get the gist of it (due to the added confusion of this account's block log, and the move log history of the page). – Chacor 07:11, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Taxman nuked the original abusive account so Her Serene Highness Bishonen could take it over. (Fawningly: don't hurt me, Bishonen!) Check the block log again, please, now much prouder. Bishzilla 07:32, 13 November 2006 (UTC).Reply[reply]

I officially apologize for my incompetence. Didn't intend for you to stay blocked. Hope that's OK... er, there's a good zilla... aiieeee! *runs away* – Gurch 22:27, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

???ArbCom??? I can't tell if that's humor or not; have I gone astray? Doc Tropics 03:00, 2 December 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If certain user is to be believed, the reason he was sanctioned by the ArbCom was that Her Serene Highness Bishonen keeps them in her pocket. I used to have a link to a Mailing List post... well, never mind, obviously the man must have been talking about Bishzilla! Big pockets! What is "humor"...? Excuse Zilla ignorance! Newbie! A parking meter from Ann[edit]

A parking meter to feed hungry Zilla, and as a peace offering to make up for my unkind remarks here. Musical Linguist 16:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bishzilla, I apologize for criticizing you at MONGO's talk page. I was going to offer you an apple turnover as well, to make up, but I'm not sure that you eat apple turnovers. So I'm giving you a parking meter instead. Of course, I don't know if you like them, either, but I do know that Muzzy does, so it might be suitable for a nice romantic dinner.

This particular kind of parking meter is hard to find nowadays, so it's considered to be quite a delicacy. I hope you both like it. Musical Linguist 16:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

/Bishzilla know how to accept apology in considerate, obliging, well-mannered, polite, kind, courteous, magnanimous, chivalrous, tactful, nice, genteel way! (Bishzilla use online thesaurus, highly recommended. Linguist, too, can acquire voluble, talkative, loquacious, communicative, chatty personality.) Zilla graciously eat parking meter, then steal Danish pastry on Bishonen's page and offer linguist a clock. Blush girlishly at thought of romantic dinner with Muzzy. Your edits to a page I cannot mention by name so as not to upset the children[edit]

As they say in the movies, "oh be-have". Seriously, though, we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so don't make joke edits. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). Since there has been some recent controversy surrounding the false assertion of credentials, I was wondering if you might provide some proof that you are in fact a large green fire-breathing monster as you claim. I have had some recent private correspondence that suggests that you are in fact a "cute little basset hound". Paul August 23:23, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please note that editors can be blocked for stalking if they post details that would enable others to track down a user's identity in real life. Over the past few days, there have been several instances in which pages have randomly appeared as much older versions of that page for up to ten minutes or so, making them impossible to edit in their current form. Dear, Bishzilla. I am writing to ask if you would be so kind as to eat Omaha, Nebraska. Here's a nightshot of the city from the northeast, probably your best approach to minimize a possible counterstrike from the nearby Air Force Base, even though all they have there is non combat aircraft. I've been looking for a reason to leave here, and I figure that if the city is devoured by hungry Bishzilla, I might feel inspired to do so. I live well west of downtown and am sure I'll hear the air raid sirens in time to scamper (me scampering) out of your path of destruction. Thanks in advance! MONGO

Pets, not snacks[edit]

Two little Barbary Striped Grass Mice. Pets, not snacks.

Hello, Zilla. I just want to explain why I originally didn't want to give any cute little grass mice to Bishonen. I had read here and here about people buying rodents to feed them to their pet reptiles, so I feared for the safety of the cute little stripey mice. However, having read this, I now see that in fact Bishonen is the one I should worry about, and not you. So here are two cute little Barbary Striped Grass Mice for you — a slightly different species from the Typical Striped Grass Mouse. But please do keep them safe from that horrible user Bishonen! ElinorD (talk) 19:39, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Little Elinor got Bishonen's number plenty right. She sca-ree with her goulashes and mid-European meat stews! She put several small editors in there when nobody looking! Appreciate cute stripey pets. An ice cream maker for 'Zilla's supper

Hello, my dear 'Zilla. First of all, I want to thank you for supporting my RfA. It was a privilege to be supported by someone like you. I gave some biscuits to some other people who supported me, and have given ice cream to people in the past, but as you told me you never eat anything smaller than Chihuahuas, I'm a little bit stuck as to what to offer you. I finally decided to offer you the whole ice cream machine — something I've never given to anyone else. Most people would find it a bit painful to swallow that amount of COLD mixture, but I believe you have means of gently heating something before you actually swallow it.

Also, since I've sometimes seen you boasting err speaking modestly about your coding skills, I wonder would you be able to offer any help or advice with an article I've just created. It's called Eighty-five martyrs of England and Wales, and I have all the martyrs' names listed in a single, very long column. (I plan to make every single red link turn blue in the next few weeks.) I'm not sure how to put the names into two or three columns, and I wondered if you could help? Many thanks, and thanks again for your support (and also for the cute, stripey pet you left at my talk page). ElinorD (talk) 22:11, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • Aha. Well, the actuality, if there is one, is that the mixture of "servants of a foreign power" and "religious missionary" and "person of conscience" is so conflated that they couldn't tell them apart, and I'm not sure we can either. Maybe the Vicar of Bray wasn't just a song but a temptation that every person felt. Geogre 11:08, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

...when you ROAR!!!!. See below. You got abducted by aliens friendly to "-zillas". Aliens are testing YOU first. (talk) 10:29, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

A LARGE UFO parks itself 2,000 miles over Bishzilla, abducts her, then clones her, modified the clone, returns Bishzilla, while the creature is still asleep. The HUGE Delta shaped starship then flies off noiseless. Aliens further modify the clone to be FAR MORE POWERFUL than the original Bishzilla. (talk) 05:42, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bishzilla wakes up with a hell of a headache and a nosebleed, and finds a Alien inplant in her brain. She is seeking Dr. Greer (of Coast To Coast fame) to get rid of the alien implant. (talk) 05:45, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It later turns out that it was Bishzilla that was abducted AND modified! The clone was a hologram to keep others distracted. Now she's so powerful that even Bishonen cannot control her at all. Bishzilla can now fly (w/ genetic coding placed for powerful wings, taken from Rodan, and modified), shoot laser-like beams of psionic energy, from the eyes, still "breathes" fire, only it is at 1,000,000,000,000,000,000+ Degrees Kelvin, has electrified skin, like that of a electric eel, other powers that she will discover in time, on her own. In flight, her speed is FAR faster than a SR-71, meaning she generates destructive sonic booms(shock waves). Her land speed (walking, running speed MAX is a good 1,000 KPH) is a bit slower. Aliens ask Bishzilla this question,"You Like ? You did US a favor a while back, so WE returned the favor." (talk) 10:23, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'm going to regret this, but ...[edit]

Um, we have this thing called administrator recall here. It tends to come into play when large, powerful, occasionally awkward admins stomp on Tokyo too often. News reports have had you and another new administrator, User:Doczilla have been "playing doctor" and maybe gotten a little too, um, feisty. That's the account of the most coherent survivor, although, granted, that isn't necessarily saying much. Did I mention that I have a long, successful, history of killing large, green, multi-limbed creatures on other planets? I don't know why I said that. Anyway, I'm wondering whether you have considered making yourself eligible for recall, in the event things, um, get out of hand/paw/whatever. And I feel this weird uncontrollable urge to change my name and lock up the servers for a few minutes again while I frantically wave my sub-etha sensomatic around looking for a lift. I've heard rumors, from sources who don't want to be identified for some reason, that someone or other might be considering starting a recall petition around the first of next month. I hope to be in some other galaxy by that point myself, on vacation of course, so I doubt I can be forced persuaded to take part, but am wondering about your opinion on this matter. Bye now. :) John Carter (talk) 17:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, I don't like to review my own block, Cvc42; it's better that a neutral admin does that. Apparently Jacurek missed the instructions in my block message for requesting review. I've written again, trying to be as clear as possible. I hope he manages to add the unblock template, if he feels he has been unfairly blocked, because that's the way to call an uninvolved admin to the page. If he still has trouble, and you're concerned, perhaps you could help him? Please post here again if you need help, and I'll add the template myself (though it's really more appropriate for the user to do it). bishzilla ROARR!! 22:51, 6 May 2008 (UTC).Reply[reply]

Honored Bishzilla. You august presence may be of great assistance. I know it's unusual to "protect" a small page like "Salt glaze pottery" - but a series of IP edits (from one editor or perhaps more), using various IP numbers, has been going on for over a year. The IP's apparently object to a small section of the article - but simply do not communicate. They use "tags" (which always rub me the wrong way) or simply delete the information. I revert and invite he/she/them to the talk page but no dice. I have asked he/she/them to sign in as an editor, but no response. My tone on the matter is increasingly curt -- and my perspective is becoming very inflexable. I have no real objections to changes on the page, but I am adverse to this type of "drive by" editing. What action would you suggest? WBardwin (talk) 06:12, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Nobody unprotected, old protection merely expired like little users do from atomic breath. (Little monster joke. Chortle.) Article protected for two months on March 17 by LaraLove, therefore expired May 17. May be smart technical way of checking protection date, but dinosaurs do it old-fashioned way, searching History for some "protection" term (Zilla cleverly use "autoconfirmed") and find this (perfunctory drumroll on chest). When Zilla developer status ?? P. S. Bishzilla semiprotect. Presume not need full protection? bishzilla ROARR!! 09:29, 21 May 2008 (UTC).Reply[reply]

As Zilla already has admin tools, is not necessary to do this. Click "protect" tab on page and Zilla can see at bottom of page "protection log". Easiest way for admins to do. Non-admins like lowly Bishonen account (Zilla prettier than Bishonen, too!) must click "history", "view logs for this page". Save Ral315 time, and surely save Zilla time too. Here I am, ready to be smeared into a thin paste...[edit]

I stand by my actions in bringing this case, Bish.. As I said to Irpen, this is like chapters of stuff that should be entitled "Stuff that Administrators should not freaking do". All the way through it.

WMC thinks that the block system is a progressive slot machine and runs the block on Giano from 3 to 24 hours to 48 hours in about an hours time. I agree that WMC himself should not be ramping up the blocks (especially considering the last block was incivility aimed at HIM, we're not supposed to block here).

MZMcBride then full protects the talk page, in an attempt to get the two sides to disengage. Again, at this point, no useful discussion was happening (it was Giano insulting various people (whether deserved or not), and WMC continuing to wind Giano up by increasing the time of the block.

At this point, hopefully things get resolved by being taken to AN/ANI, smacking WMC lightly on the wrist and saying "A block is not like an egg timer. You can't add time arbitrarily to it.. and you should've disengaged".

But Geogre came in, and lit the fuse for the explosion. Bish, everyone knows I'm a bit of a stickler for process at times. I'll freely admit that failing. But did anyone think Geogre coming in and unilaterally undoing another administrator's block without the other administrator's ok, or discussion and consensus on a community noticeboard, or even a "Hey, you're wrong, I'm undoing this" note to the other administrator's page is going to SOLVE anything? It is a provocative maneuver, one that Geogre has done in the past. The mop is not supposed to be used as a weapon in a fight, and Geogre was doing just that.

He says he overturned the block and changed the duration, and a few minutes later, Avraham then fixes to the original three hour block (down to 1 hour because of time spent). Maybe Geogre was distracted at the time. But it shouldn't take 5+ minutes to change the duration. Who knows, maybe he was arguing with someone off wiki about something at the time? He hasn't said anything about the situation. I can only go by what I see.

He also undid the page protection of a completely uninvolved administrator. Again, there was nothing to back him up. No ok from MZM. No discussion elsewhere. Not even a note to MZM that he had done so. Again, the mop is not for unilateral actions to protect your friends. He could've brought it up on AN/ANI at this point and covered his butt, but apparently, breaking just about every "Thou Shalt Not" for an administrator doesn't require that kind of comment.

Then of course, WMC Completes the Circle of life by explicitly wheel-warring the block back in. Of course. Why not. We've done everything else completely by the numbers wrong, why not one more item.

I stand by my conviction that BOTH people's actions in this case are sanctionable because of their gross misjudgements and wheelwarring. One explicitly wheel wars, and the other if not explicitly (depends on your definition), at least sets things up for it with the log in, yell, "block overturned", unprotect, step away, no further response. If I had my way (yeah, I know, thank god I'm not, right? :)) this kind of misjudgement is de-adminnable.

I'm sorry you and Giano (and most probably Geogre) feel that way (Giano's biblical reference was choice, btw) but I'm not selling anyone out, I'm disgusted by both sides administrative actions in this issue.

I hope I've made it utterly clear that I do not support any further action on Giano and support the proposed injunction by Kirill (hey, at least it won't put any new names on Giano's Gmail list for him to argue with) but this adminstrative mess needs at the VERY least a strong trout slapping to both sides and told not to do it again. If all the administrators acted like these two did on this case, it'd be pure mayhem.

You may step on me and reduce me to a fine red paste when ready, Gridley (or Bishzilla). SirFozzie (talk) 02:33, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

"I can only go by what I see." And you apparently don't see my timeline, in my evidence? During those five minutes, Geogre was posting. Editing. That was one of the big points I tried to make with my evidence, so it's a bit depressing that it was invisible. :-( Geogre works very fast—I, notoriously slow, couldn't have edited whatsoever twice in five minutes. As for Geogre "coming in", I don't think he was even aware the affair was on AN/ANI (was it? I can't find it, not in the archives either—it must be, but I don't know where. Not knowing the name of the thread makes it harder to look.). He discussed it solely on Giano's talk, as far as I can see (from his contribs). I don't understand if "maybe he was arguing with someone off wiki" is some kind of insinuation—if so, what does it mean, exactly? That you think he was plotting something (what?) with Giano? With me?
Geogre isn't very often online these days, you know. He got so pissed off about the IRC RFAR at Christmas that he's hanging by a thread on Wikipedia. I haven't discussed the unblocking business with him at all, and Giano hasn't—no opportunity. I know Irpen has, but that was later, not something that could have distracted Geogre at the time. You, know, Sir Fozzie... the more I look at this post of yours, the less I like the suspicions and insinuations you're spinning. You're not even within shouting distance of Geogre's attitudes and beliefs and the work he does. And you seem to make a point of assuming the worst and assuming bad faith. In fact, please go away. Bishzilla doesn't want to play. Take your cookies with you. Bishonen | talk 06:52, 4 July 2008 (UTC).Reply[reply]

Hi, since you've been original blocking admin of Jacurek, and it seems you've haven't been involved in any edit conflict with him, and so you are fairly neutral in this case, your opinion here [13] would be very appreciated. Risker - Although "non-Christian" Wikipedians such as myself don't often talk about our church affiliation, Bytebear (an administrator) is almost certainly a (gasp) "Mormon" and therefore not likly to be trusted by this user. A warning from an experienced administrator like the Mighty One, one not involved in LDS related articles, might help him view his action as a Wikipedia problem rather than a "Mormon" one. Thanks for your opinion, however. WBardwin (talk) 04:53, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Gisella Anastasia[edit]

Review needed - too quick no warning and somewhat against what I thought were adequate utilisation of sources for notabiliity in two languages - SatuSuro 12:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review and argue for it there, then. You're not supposed to simply re-create a page which has already been speedy deleted, as this one was on July 25. That's why I re-deleted it without warning—that, and the absence of any claim of notability. Thank you. bishzilla ROARR!! 12:50, 5 August 2008 (UTC).Reply[reply]

If you can delete so quick perhaps you could respond as quickly as well SatuSuro 12:45, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ah, yes, rudeness is the way to get admins to favour your case, no doubt of that. I'm sorry I took the time and trouble to write you a full message. bishzilla ROARR!! 12:54, 5 August 2008 (UTC).Reply[reply]

It was with some suprise that the speedy happened that I responded to like that - it was not in any way intended to be rude - I have no case as I am not interested in pursuing this any further, and admins are the last thing on my mind for a start - this is simply a afterthought on what I will not try in future - if there was a hint of warning I would not have in the slightest thought to have written anything like that - my apologies unreservedly, I would have thought if you are in speedy land that is polite to what you must get most of the time anyways.

There are indonesian editors with limited english who havent the faintest of what you just did - I didnt re-recreate the article - If you had the time to check - I was just trying to coach an indonesian editor the issues of WP:N and WP:RS and in the middle of that process of doing exactly that with a source that can ascertain an inherent notabilty - that you zap it - I know that a number speedy deletes have occurred recently around the indonesian idol characters - and for very good reason - the average Indonesian editor hasnt the faintest about how to ascertain WP:V or WP:RS from a WP:DUCK if they had it in their hands in front of them.

I honestly couldnt be bothered going to any form of review - speedy gunners on the english side - and indonesians with limited english on the other - I should send you links into the inter - asian - ethnic debates - youd have a lot of fun there - cheers and have fun whatever you do SatuSuro 13:14, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Happy - you tell me 40,000 edits is happy nah - rot - i just saw the blood of a year get zapped from lower case to upper case for no apparent reason last night by a bot - and as i was saying - a lot of the indonesian idol stuff is notable but the eds havent the faintest how to do it for english wikipedia - my apologies re not looking closely at the delete history (and your invovlement - doh -I undnerstan now - says he as he - sqwuawska quietly like javanes chikcen about to be slaughtered for evening meal ) - she is notable but hell i better do it myself next time with a different spelling :( - she is the fantasy of at least 2 million or more javanese boys - and there are issues but hey - whats an indonesian idol between eds? - sqwuak squwak quietly into the australian night SatuSuro 13:57, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

A bit of prophecy on my part: I have a feeling that talk:At Swim-Two-Birds may generate a finger wagging response from the person who wants to tag the article to hell and back. • I don't think savage monsters, and the like, should run for Arbcom. Arbcom members should be people of refinement, culture, modesty and good breeding - I really cannot think of anyone who fits that bill, though I'm sure if one looked there is one small humble, modest woman somewhere on the project who would fit that description, who if beseeched and implored by her friends would very reluctantly step up to the line and do her duty, in a fashion only achieved by a high born British woman. Catherine de Burgh (Lady) (talk) 22:04, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, I think so, too. You know, I'm glad that I haven't gone camping with you. Thor was easy to trick with a bit of iron thread, but that would have melted beneath the gamma ray breath, and then it would have gone on to irradiate Norway. That wouldn't have been fair at all. Of course, you couldn't have won the drinking game or lifted my cat any better than he did, but still... better that you be neutralized by being on ArbCom.
