Jackie Hunt, who is not actually some tiresome irrelevant U.S. sports player, but actually quit Standard Life on 26 April 2013 to move to Prudential in order to "take on one of the biggest jobs in the UK insurance industry and potentially putting her in line to succeed Tidjane Thiam as chief executive". Thiam received remuneration of nearly £8m in 2012. Hunt initially had a base salary of £625,000 at Prudential.[9]
