The original idea was "homo sapiens" with a Mediterranean flavor. Only belatedly I have discovered that humus is different from the intended hummus. I love learning and I don't mind an earthly nick, especially after my friends found a deeper,
meaning in it.

I believe that converting the heat of raw emotions into the light of encyclopedic knowledge may alleviate animosity, if done within the framework of Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines based on Wikipedia:Five pillars. Unfortunately, many WP articles are frequently attacked by neo-nazis, jihadis, vandals, trolls, etc. I assume good faith but will revert, resist and ridicule hatemongers (within WP policies of course).
