My editing philosophy
Rule number one: have fun. Second, address my own need to learn something new. Editing WP, adding (or removing) text, can go in parallel with learning. My aim is to answer the "hows" and "whys" associated with each theme. At least to summarize the most prominent opinions and answers. This way, I can transfer the excitement I feel about the various topics to the reader. Facts are important, but should be distinguished from trivia information.
I am really no good at grammar and spelling- not even in my native language. I rely on the goodwill of other users to help me.
Wikipedia is editing us
I am having a gut feeling that WP is editing its editors. I have observe me making wikipedia styled reasoning in my daily conversations. "Come on mate, this is not a RS", or "Pal, you are giving an ovedue weight to this fringe theory". Also I observe the logical fallacies more. It is unavoidable in a way, every interaction we make, wherever we do it, it alters us a bit. But WP might have a larger than expected effect.
Conflict of Interest Declaration
I declare that I belong to the human species. I receive(d) food, education and money from humans (hopefully, this will continue). Apart from that, no other Conflict of interest.
