Alex Taylor (American Entrepreneur)[edit]
Alexander James Taylor (Born 01/20/01) is an American aircraft designer and entrepreneur know for being one of the youngest commercial drone pilots, a self-educated engineer, and an early pioneer of electric aerospace technology through Wind Craft Aviation, an aerospace company he founded as a junior in high school.
Early Life[edit]
Alex Taylor was born in Wrightwood California (50 miles East of Los Angeles), raised in Istanbul Turkey between the ages of two and twelve, and returned to the United States where his family settled in West Michigan.

Early Start[edit]
Alex publicly stated that his motto growing up was "How much how young". At age 12 Alex began pursuing his passion for aviation through building early examples of unmanned aerial systems (UAVs/Drones), paying for his hobby through doing construction for his neighbors. His interest grew and by age 14 he was regularly building and operating commercial UAVs for hire under Wind Craft Quads LLC. At age 16 Alex became the youngest Part 107 commercial drone pilot.
Founding Wind Craft Aviation[edit]
Later that year while attending aviation maintenance classes, Alex founded Wind Craft Aviation as a research initiative designed to investigate technologies to combat the complacency he saw in general aviation and meet the needs of underserved people groups. During this time he self educated in aerospace engineering through a variety of institutions, hiring himself as an intern at his own company in order to circumvent the last two classes of the day at Lowell Senior High School. Alex graduated and differed higher education to continue working on their research at Wind Craft Aviation, which now included Dr. John Rusek and Swift Enterprises.
Commercialization[edit]
Four months later in Sept 2019 Wind Craft Aviation was incorporated and began to formally commercialize some of their innovations. WCA developed it's first prototype an aircraft named SJX or "Sally Jean Experimental", named after Alex's late grandmother. Alex Taylor holds 3 patents on the airframe and wing structure of SJX. Wind Craft Aviation is now targeting applications in aid delivery and rescue operations.
