Parameters misnamed[edit]

This template uses parameter names which don't agree with their actual usage.

|caption= places WP:ALT TEXT read by screen reader software, but should refer to the text rendered below the image on the page.
|text= places text below the image, but should be named "caption".

I'm suggesting renaming caption to alt, and renaming text to caption in this template, and using WP:AWB to repair all ~1200 uses of this template. --Lexein (talk) 23:34, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia app: image misalignment[edit]
