According to the MusEdit website as of March 1, 2011 the author Doug Rogers is offering the full version of MusEdit for free. I just downloaded it and can confirm this is accurate.
Therefore the MusEdit entry in this template needs to be moved from Proprietary to Freeware.
Furthermore, Doug Rogers is indicating that he will make the C++ source code available in the near future, so if that has happended it should be Open source, but so far I haven't found if or where it has been published.

Edit request: add NoteFlight[edit]
There is no page for NoteFlight, but is proprietary cloud based notation software worthy of inclusion with the others here. 167.249.181.246 (talk) 19:04, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
SCORE now Defunct?[edit]
The article for SCORE says "... both SCORE and WinScore are no longer sold and the website registrations have lapsed". Does this not qualify for the "Defunct" category? If a piece of software that is no longer sold or marketed by the authors does not qualify for Defunct status then what is the criteria? --Aamackie (talk) 15:22, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
