  • Symbol confirmed.svg Long enough, new enough. QPQ not necessary (the ferret has one DYK so far). I'm not so thrilled about the "one of the first" phrase--it'd be nicer to have "first" followed by a plural noun, but the source that verifies the hook gives me no such noun. So I'll leave it, though I invite the DYK volunteers to ponder this for a bit to see if they can think of any possibiilties. Drmies (talk) 21:58, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Would "as early as 1898" make a better hook than "one of the first"? --PFHLai (talk) 06:53, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
  • i think "one of the first" makes it clearer without knowing the timeline of asbestos history --nonsense ferret 03:38, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
