Notability[edit]

There's a lot of interest among academics in both Japan and Korea on this topic, and some of it is making its way into English. That's formed some of the basis for this article, which is only likely to grow as more research is translated. I note it is also a controversial topic, so I hope we'll all aim to make neutral improvements. That said, my focus is chiefly Japan and Shinto articles, so perhaps someone with a Korean perspective or resources could diversify the POV. --- Owlsmcgee (talk) 01:38, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

Having no context about the topic, the lede seems to be slightly unbalanced: "The origins of Shinto in Korea are primarily a result of Japan's incursions since an unbalanced treaty in 1876". On the other hand, it may be accurate and reflect the consensus view of the topic. Park3r (talk) 06:18, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
