There are a lot of quotes and opinions in this article, but it is not well source-referenced. Not that many drum corps wiki articles are, but still . . .

Show/Score table[edit]

someone really needs to make it into an organized table. thank you! Dachshund2k3 14:18, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uniform[edit]

The uniform box states that they have sky blue baldric and gauntlets. Not denying this, but I was under the impression that this change was only for this season as it goes with their show? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.66.181.245 (talk) 02:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They're going to be changed for the 2008 season. Dbalash (talk) 05:23, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unencyclopedic[edit]

"One question that has never been answered is, if the first DCI World Championships had been held much further away than the one hour drive to Whitewater, Wisconsin, would the Regiment have attended?" and "Phantom Regiment legend also holds that 1971 was also the season that the corps showed its determination to survive when, on a Friday the 13th, all the of the corps' buses ran out of fuel; the equipment truck caught fire, not just once, but twice; yet the corps went out and won that night's contest."Irish Melkite (talk) 02:06, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And this sentence - "The corps returned when the championships returned to Whitewater, having undertaken a short tour to Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio and moved up to 14th place among 48 corps." - says what? Beginning in '72, they attended every year, regardless of where the event was held - so, what's the point of highlighting the fact that they once again went to Whitewater, when the tournament was there? Drmies and disruptive editing on Drum Corps pages[edit]

I have now caught Drmies deleting decades of research regarding the detailed show discographies for the following drum and bugle corps: Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Phantom Regiment and Colts. This information is well sourced, and has been collected for decades. It is a rare and important source of musical collaboration and composition. These edits, which are made without explanation other than Drmies finds them "unencyclopedic", are starting to border on vandalism. I will be watching them and also alerting the drum and bugle corps community to follow them as well. Further revisions without explanation or discussion on these talk pages will be considered vandalism and reported as such.

Further assumption of bad faith may be considered disruptive. You may wish to start a Fandom site for this kind of extremely detailed content, it appears to be excessive here. Stop with the "vandalism" business. Acroterion (talk) 12:30, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, Acroterion, it IS disruptive editing. How is it any different from a discography on any other music page? This information is rare and we in the community have spent years collecting this information and maintaining it. We absolutely will not stand for its constant erasure from the wiki. Knock it off. It is absolutely encyclopedic knowledge.
