Is there any particular reason why that first sentence, regarding inefficiencies, is put where it is? It seems an inappropriate first sentence, perhaps better suited to one of the latter sections. It definitely taints the apparent objectivity of this article.--Pl77 (talk) 02:40, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I have begun editing this article. Hopefully I can increase the objectivity and make it more accessible for the uninitiated.--Pl77 (talk) 23:03, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chitosan is not a pesticide application technique. Chitosan (as far as I know) is usually applied as a seed coating, which is already covered in this article. I have deleted the reference in the "See Also" section.Pl77 (talk) 13:38, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with your observation on chitosan. I have tried to reword the introduction - in an attempt to give some context, raison d'etre and objectives. Roy Bateman (talk) 21:14, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
