Hello everyone! I am a 4th-year medical student taking a WikiProject course this month. I plan to edit this wiki article over the course of the month to provide updated information and expand on some topics on the page. This page has high importance in WikiProject Women's Health and I am excited to contribute and provide more updated information with references to current research. Below is my work plan for the month!

Work plan:

Introduction: I plan to update this section with current information and add more citations.

Signs and symptoms: I plan to edit this section to make it more concise and easy to read.

Risk factors: This section can be expanded and can include more references on risk factors. I plan to update the references and include other risk factors that have been found to be associated with ovarian cancer.

Pathology: I plan to expand the sections on the different types of tumors. I hope to include more histology pictures in this section.

Prevention: I plan to find more updated references on prevention and screening. The references in this section are from 2012 so I want to include new resources on what screening guidelines there are.

Immunotherapy: I want to include information about current treatment guidelines and the use of immunotherapy. The references in this section are from 2015 so I want to expand on this section with new developments that have come out since then.

Epidemiology: This information is mostly from 2012 so I want to include current information with references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sv290 (talkcontribs) 17:46, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Here's my peer review of your article-- you did a great job, the article looks awesome!
Lead: The lead has a great introductory sentence that is clear and concise. There is plenty of detail in this section and it is easy to read, but it lacks a description of the article's major sections. This section only includes information that is present elsewhere in the article.
Content: The content of the article is relevant and up to date, with plenty of references added. All information contained within the article is relevant to the topic.
Tone and Balance: The tone of the article is neutral and nonbiased, without intention to sway the user one way or the other. No specific viewpoints are represented more heavily than others.
Sources and References: The added sources are recent and thorough, and were taken from reliable journals/books. No sources were used from historically marginalized groups, which could be a nice addition. The links work and the sources added are from high quality secondary sources.
Organization: The content added is clear, concise, and easy to read. The article is well organized with appropriate subheadings and the article does not have any spelling mistakes that I noticed.
Images and Media: The images in the article are clear and help the reader understand the topic. The images adhere to Wikipedia's copyright regulations, are laid out well, and contain appropriate captions. The article could be improved with a couple more pictures.
Overall Impressions: Overall, the article looks great! There is an appropriate level of detail and the sources were well chosen and reflect up to date knowledge of the topic. The article was improved by the content added, especially with the addition of several well chosen references. The article could be improved through the addition of a couple more photos. Merge proposal[edit]

I propose merging MALOVA into the Research section of Ovarian cancer. The MALOVA study's article is currently an orphan and a stub, and I think if it were expanded properly it would fit best within the context of other research on ovarian cancer. Uffda608 (talk) 10:55, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
