Does anyone agree there is too much detail here? Should an encyclopaedia entry about one particular shopping centre in one particular city really include a complete list of all the shops in it? Woblosch 16:03, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Breaking up the gallery[edit]

I think some of the images in the gallery should be redistributed around the article, for example the plan could go under the redevelopment section, and the view of the site before the Arndale was built could go at the start of the history section. The article's shaping up nicely by the way. Nev1 (talk) 23:11, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I think that's the way to go. I was waiting until I had all my info in before weighing the job up. This shopping center is more complicated than I thought. Mr Stephen (talk) 23:39, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stabbings[edit]

Is there a reason why editors keep adding the October 2019 stabbing incident? It seems to be thoroughly non-noteworthy, yet someone keeps re-adding it to the article. Rather unhelpfully, someone has even re-added a red link to the Manchester Arndale stabbing - this article has already been deleted.

This is an article about a shopping centre - it is not appropriate for an encyclopedic article to record every minor crime that took place within its walls. Wikipedia is not a news source - this was not a notable terrorist attack and deserves no coverage here - please stop adding it to the article. Cnbrb (talk) 14:30, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Right, well thanks again for your input everyone. Glad that's sorted out.🙄 Cnbrb (talk) 10:46, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
