Recent additions[edit]

@2603:9000:7504:58b9:20f3:2101:f808:c7b8: @User-duck: Regarding these additions - That needs to stop. I don't know what you're trying to do by reverting User-duck's edits, because their edits seem appropriate. The reason the stuff you want to add, i.e the stuff about Super Mario 64, was not appropriate is because there was no sources for this information. Now that you've added a source, the problem is just that this source is a primary source. Optimally there should third-party ones, but looking at the size of the youtube channel being cited, there must be some around that cover this. I'm gonna have a look for some. @Eik Corell: I agree the additional statement needs a proper source. My real complaint is that it is not properly formatted and is added by reverting my work which is not trivial. User-duck (talk) 19:40, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've now looked through sources, and it's weird -- Despite the channel having as many subscribers as it does, I cannot find any sources on neither it nor Super Mario 64 machinimas being notable. The only one I found was this article which only mentions a recent phenomenon; horror-themed videos based on Super Mario 64 that could be argued to be machinimas. Valve Saxxy Awards[edit]

Hi, I was reading this article and noticed that the Saxxy awards, which is quite a notable machinima competition, is not listed in the "Competitions" section of the article. I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to add a sentence mentioning it? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by RSpaced (talkcontribs) 09:33, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Minecraft[edit]

I believe that Minecraft is a dominant platform for videogame based cinematography. Arguably it is the most popular platform for videogame based movie making, at the moment. I find if very strange there is no mention of the game in this article. 2601:500:8782:80B0:E145:C214:1F1:1DB8 (talk) 04:03, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
