  • ... that the small Ma On Shan Village in Hong Kong saw a large number of new arrivals after changes in the methods of iron ore mining were implemented at the nearby Ma On Shan Iron Mine in 1953? Source: "Also, a great change in the methods of iron ore mining took place in Ma On Shan in 1953, when underground mining was resorted to. These led to great increases in the output of iron ore. Consequently, the small village of Ma On Shan Tsuen was swamped with new arrivals, nearly all of them came from China. With them, the miners bought their families to live in the area." [1]
    • ALT1:... that the population of Ma On Shan Village in Hong Kong decreased after the nearby Ma On Shan Iron Mine ceased operation in 1976? Source: "For economic reasons the mine ceased operation as from 1976. The population of the village decreased with the departure of the miners and their families since then." [2]
    • ALT2:... that several scenes of the 2009 film Tactical Unit – Comrades in Arms, directed by Law Wing-cheung, were shot at St. Joseph's Church in Ma On Shan Village in Hong Kong? Source: "The eye-catching splendour of the church also makes itself a choice for location filming for film production. Several scenes of the film Tactical Unit - Comrades in Arms (機動部隊—同袍) (2009) directed by Law Wing-cheong were shot at the church." [3]

  • @Underwaterbuffalo: Everything looks good, there is just one issue: epicgenius (talk) 16:21, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Epicgenius:. Thank you for reviewing this DYK nomination and thank you for your feedback. I have modified ALT0 and the article text following your remark. Underwaterbuffalo (talk) 18:45, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Underwaterbuffalo: I am still seeing a few more issues. Like The population of the village decreased with the departure of the miners and their families (two separate sections of this), made the buildings too dangerous to occupy. Sorry to be persistent about this, but it is important that we don't plagiarize or close-paraphrase content. epicgenius (talk) 18:49, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
General: Article is new enough and long enough
