Leif LarsenLeif Andreas Larsen – There are at least two others who share the name Leif Larsen, such at the athlete. We could make this a disambiguation page. Ranze (talk) 02:09, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. There is already a politician with that same name. A better option might be Shetlands-Larsen, is that is what he was more commonly called. Apteva (talk) 02:31, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That hyphenated form is Norwegian. In English it's Leif "Shetlands" Larsen. Look at books. Dicklyon (talk) 04:20, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Don't think the politician and footballer-boxer are that notable, and Google Books ["leif larsen" -shetlands] shows a very large number of military books not even mentioning "Shetlands" In ictu oculi (talk) 04:16, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. If his middle name wasn't commonly used then we shouldn't use it in an article title. If he is not the primary topic then we should use a parenthetical disambiguator. -- Necrothesp (talk) 22:37, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. The athlete is exclusively known as Leif Olve Dolonen Larsen, never Leif Larsen. The politician is notable, but far less so than Shetland Larsen. No need for disambiguation. Geschichte (talk) 08:24, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. If this article should be disambiguated, it should be like Leif Larsen (sailor), or something similar, as it is more likely that people know his profession/activity than it is that they know his middle name. HandsomeFella (talk) 14:30, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not grammatical?[edit]

Hi, not sure, but to me the sentence "The unit for the Special Operations Executive (SOE) and, despite its name, was initially independent of the ...Navy" seems not right. Someone have a look? T 85.166.161.28 (talk) 10:41, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
