Time of US de facto recognition of Israel[edit]

The article claims that the US de facto recognized Israel at 11 minutes after midnight. Looking at the National Archives webpage linked as a source for this claim, however, no time is specified for the document. There is a scan of a document signed by Truman on that page, but there's no time specified in the typed text, either. There does appear to be a time handwritten on it, but it looks to me like 6:11 and not 0:11. Would we expect Truman (assuming that's his handwriting) to write 12:11 AM as 0:11 in any case? It appears to be either because someone replaced the original reference to this statement in 2013 with a new link (http://www.ourdocuments.gov/doc.php?doc=83) without checking that source confirmed the fact being referenced, or the target of that url has changed (it now redirects to https://www.archives.gov/milestone-documents/press-release-announcing-us-recognition-of-israel). I have replaced the reference with another one that confirms the 11 minutes matter. Cheers, Number 57 12:22, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Add the following citation to the passage: "Following the declaration, Moetzet HaAm became the Provisional State Council, which acted as the legislative body for the new state until the first elections in January 1949."  Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Shadow311 (talk) 01:15, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
