He seems to be 'British Roman Catholic', 'British of Tamil descent' and 'British of Sri Lankan descent' (neither of the last 2 being redundant as some tamils are not sri lankan and vice versa). Can these be instated/reinstated without argument? Occuli (talk) 21:13, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article says so, but where's the verifiable sources? Doesn't qualify for "descent" category, as he's in the "immigrant" category. And remember, these need to be notable, and for biography "relevant to the subject's notable activities or public life, according to reliable published sources." (I'm sure you know the categorization of people cites by heart.)

An immigrant to the UK becomes British. There is nothing controversial about him being British or his parents being Tamil so there is no need to have watertight sources for every little fact about him. You seem to be splitting hairs in these arguments; and I expect I will find you have written the phrases which you are quoting. Occuli (talk) 12:02, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

'The Pariah, Easy George, Gorgeous George'- really? Surely citations needed for each of these... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.109.194.177 (talk) 13:27, 31 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
