Message[edit]

Message to the administrators: I have received the speedy deletion notice on this article, just after creating it. I fully understand and support Wikipedia's efforts to avoid advertising content, but I would like to better understand which are the current criteria for considering a company description article as valid. I have included this one only after verifying that a quite big number of other companies similar to Forship have their own articles in Wikipedia. This may be checked, for instance, in the Category:Oilfield services companies list. To give you a couple of more specific examples, consider Wood Group and BJ Services Company , which are similar to Forship in their services portfolio and international presence. Being so, I would like to ask you to clarify in some more details what are the acceptance criteria, so that I may possibly rewrite the article in order to become encyclopedic. Maybe I should incorporate some information about the history of the group or some relevant data (foundation, revenue, employess..). Is that so? Thank you in advance. - Antonio Prates (talk) 13:42, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

References should be from third party sources and should be specific. Pointing to a general website and expecting the reader to explore the website to find the information is not a good way to display references. -- Loukinho (talk) 03:12, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
