Owner operated?[edit]

This statement doesn't seem to be true. Last time I was in Masterton New World, I saw the Biulding WoF and it said the store is actually owned by Foodstuffs Wellington, which means that the store cannot be owner operated - unless your talking about Foodstuffs itself.Laydan M (mailbox) 22:29, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's possible for the building to be built and owned by Foodstuffs but the business which leases it to be owned and operated by an individual or company. I know of two Pak'n'Saves which are privately owned. dramatic (talk) 10:18, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

FoodstuffsFoodstuffs (company) – No clear primary topic, Food has 69,325 views, the singular Foodstuff redirect has 230 (and redirects don't generally get nearly as many views as articles due to search engines etc not landing people on them) compared with only 1,650[[1]] for the company. Google and Images return slightly more results for food in general than the company and Books doesn't appear to return anything for the company. • Support – Useful disambiguation to prevent people from being WP:ASTONISHed by the fact that they aren't redirected to food. I would also be amenable to a natural-disambiguation title such as "Foodstuffs NZ Ltd". ModernDayTrilobite (talkcontribs) 18:13, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support clearly not the primary—blindlynx 22:03, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom, and I agree with the nom that there's NO clear primary topic. The safest bet is to have "Foodstuffs" be a disambiguation page. Paintspot Infez (talk) 02:36, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support and redirect to Food as the primary redirect with a hatnote to the company. Creating a disambiguation page for a single entry is unnecessary. Rreagan007 (talk) 04:15, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Too general a word to refer to this particular company. JIP | Talk 07:21, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom and redirect to Food as a clear primary redirect. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:10, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
