Flim is not an exculsively american thing[edit]

"Film (..) is an American work of visual art" is wrong. Films can be produced by any country. No other langugage for this article calls film an American work.

Thank you for the pickup. That was recent vandalism, which I have now reverted. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 09:31, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Under History > Film Evolution, the sixth sentence needs ‘is’ to be added in to it, making it “It *is* this relationship that makes all film storytelling possible.” AndroidFV (talk) 03:14, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Salah Zulfikar[edit]

One image that seems out of place to me is a portrait of Salah Zulfikar, an Egyptian Cinema actor. It sits at the end of the History section and the beginning of the Film Theory section, so the location of it doesn't seem to work. It's super specific, an actor in the golden age of Egyptian cinema. I've never heard of him before. This may work better in an article about Egyptian Cinema, but I don't think in this article about Film as a whole. There's another picture of him and I believe his wife at the very bottom of the article, by the Animation section. Again, not relating to the topic it's near. In the entire article, there's only two mentions of Salah's name, and it's in the caption of these two photos. Is there an explanation as to why this man is pictured here twice? Any information we can add to the article? Thanks! -SlipperySpinner (talk) 06:12, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Additions to Sound[edit]

Hey fellow Wikipedians! :D

I have added some significant content to the "Sound" sub-section with applicable sources. For the most part, it was missing citations, but not anymore. Please, take a review and let's discuss how we can make changes to better the quality of the information.

Looking forward to what you have to contribute. DiamondPuma (talk) 21:19, 24 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Additions to Color[edit]

I've added some pertinent contributions to the "Color" sub-section with great print sources. I recommend giving them a read when you get a chance. Anyway, please let me know what you think and how it can be improved.

As always, would love to discuss! :) DiamondPuma (talk) 22:01, 24 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
