This Article Needs Improvement - I will begin.[edit]

There is a a lot of overlap between the terms "electrical" and "electronic". I will try to clarify. Also, better citations are needed. Avoid dictionary definitions -textbooks and encyclopedias are preferred. Codwiki (talk) 12:49, 19 September 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Recycling[edit]

Electronics is not designed to be recycled. That explains why the article doesn't mention recycling. Should it? - Shiftchange (talk) 03:22, 19 December 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

A section on it would be nice, given the current global resource crisis. With some thought in design, electronic devices can be recycled or parts reused.

Avionics[edit]

Should avionics be considered a principle branch of electronics, or simply the application of electronics to one particular field? Just as we don't list Automotive electronics, Marine electronics, Consumer electronics or Audio electronics as principle branches, I don't believe avionics should be considered a principle branch either.
