I originally created this page after following a link from the virus page so I focused it on virus outbreaks, but I have since realized that it is just meant to be outbreaks.

Is it possible to have a

• global outbreak database available publically with the search function of the pathogen list?
• rechecking of the definitions of endemic and epidemic, the ones used on this page seem to contradict with the ones on this http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=3234 page. - I don't know how to sign comments!

Pests?

Does the term also mean or can it correctly refer to the spread of animal pests? Should this be mentioned or is it covered under another term? - Shiftchange (talk) 23:38, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
