Should Dan Deacon be linked in the image caption?

"Director and editor Dave Hughes had previously collaborated with Dan Deacon in 2008 for his song "Okie Dokie" from the album Spiderman of the Rings." Remove "Dan" per WP:SURNAME, as Deacon is already mentioned and linked in the body of the article.

"However, he felt that, given the tracks' length..." Perhaps it's just me, but I'm not a fan of the words I or he followed by "feel". I'd change it to "However, given the tracks' length, he argued," or something similar.
