Contradictory statements[edit]

"There are more modern claims that the Ancient Greeks and Romans kept weasels as house pets, but they are unsupported by historical sources.[citation needed] Plutarch and Cicero both refer to weasels as household pets in their writing."

These two statements appear to contradict each other. Surely Plutarch and Cicero aren't considered "modern claims"? If no one has any objections, I'm going to remove the former, uncited claim. Margatroidwitch (talk) 02:25, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
