Will start review now.--Dom497 (talk) 18:03, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

  • "Their best performance..." - Replace with something like "The country's best performance..." or "The nation's best performance..."

Background[edit]

  • Looks good!

Disability classification[edit]

  • See discussion here. In other words, nomination will be on hold for a couple days but will not be stopped until consensus is reached.

Alpine skiing[edit]

  • "Only the two best runs for each rider counted, and his combined time was two minutes and forty-two seconds, earning him 28th place out of 33 competitors." - Use numbers for times since it is easier to read. Also reword the end of the sentence to: "...placing 28th out of 33 competitors."
  • What was Andre Pereira's classification?
  • Classifications were not used for snowboard cross, all the standing athletes participated in one pool, without time adjustments for classification. Courcelles (talk) 18:36, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cross-country skiing[edit]

  • "Athletes classified LW12 had..." --> "Athletes classified as LW12 had..."
  • Done. Courcelles (talk) 18:40, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Random comment: I never knew the Paralympics were so complicated in terms of classifications and timings.
  • Some sports are, some aren't. Cross-country is one of the more complicated. Don't even get me started on the relays they introduced in Peyongchang... Courcelles (talk) 18:40, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • "...this placed him 15th out of 21 competitors, and over 8 minutes behind the winning time of 40 minutes and 51 seconds" --> "...placing him 15th out of 21 competitors, and over 8 minutes behind the winning time of 40 minutes and 51 seconds."
  • "and Rocha was eliminated" - This is implied so it is not needed.
  • You're right. Gone.

Men's sprint[edit]

  • In the "Final" he is ranked 20th. How can be ranked 20th in the Final if he didn't qualify for it?

References[edit]

  • Please make sure the date formatting is consistent between the formatting used in the text and references (for example, ref 1 is formatted differently than the others)
  • Oops, that was the one reference in the article as I found it, and I just plum missed the formatting. Courcelles (talk) 18:42, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On hold.--Dom497 (talk) 18:33, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dom497, that's everything addressed! Thanks for the reviews! Courcelles (talk) 18:42, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'm just going to pass this since it doesn't look like the discussion at the WikiProject will start or happen anytime soon.--Dom497 (talk) 14:38, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
