Did you know... that during World War II, Germany and Japan wanted to divide all of Asia between each other along a line on the 70th meridian east longitude?

The article once ended with the outcome:

"The Axis missed by 2 degrees. Eventually, the 68th meridian east became the frontier between USAFRICOM and USPACOM. As Franklin Delano Roosevelt had promised, “Hitler wants lebensraum, he will get lebensraum, the American global one.”^[1]"

This was reverted as... vandalism.
