As far as I could see, while translating this article to hewiki, there is no mention of Bodanzky on any of the 5 references. Why were they put there in the first place? S. Kedem

Original research[edit]

Many thanks to the editor(s) who have added substantially more material to the article recently. Unfortunately some of it breaches Wikipedia's WP:NPOV and WP:OR policies, so had to be removed or modified. Here is the material that was edited:

It is likely that Chotzinoff's assessment is incorrect in that his book is a self-evident exercise in hagiography in which every conductor is found wanting except Toscanini. This appears to be the opinion or speculation of a Wikipedia editor. Per WP:OR and WP:V material such as this must be taken from a reliable source and cited.
Today, based on the recorded evidence, which is considerable but of low technical quality, it is not possible to rate Bodanzky as a conductor of the very first rank, but he does seem entitled to an assured place in the second ranks, rather than the purgatory to which he has been assigned by most of the critics and historians writing after his death. Once again, this appears on its face to be the personal opinion of an editor. According to the neutral point of view policy of this website, such opinionated material can only be cited from published sources. Cheers. Grover cleveland (talk) 05:47, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
