ch, gh[edit]

If I'm not mistaken, there are two more digraphs, ch and gh, which are pronounced /k/ and /g/, respectively, when followed by either e or i. Also, I'm not sure but it may be that the same digraphs are pronounced /ɣ/ when followed by other letters.— AdiJapan  11:14, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

These combinations do exist, but apparently they are not considered one letter (which I believe is the case with the listed digraphs). However, there is not much clarity given by sources in regards to digraph (two sequential letters) vs digraph (one letter). For instance, the Aromanian schoolbooks that I've seen from Macedonia state it is a 27 letter alphabet and don't consider any digraphs as letters. Omniglot and Farsarotul say something else. I have added some information about the digraphs ch and gh. Burzuchius (talk) 19:41, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

sound for ɨ[edit]

Is there a letter for /ɨ/? Or do they use à ã in both cases: /ɨ/ and /ə/? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Calusarul (talkcontribs) 07:33, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non existence of formal standardization[edit]

The article is wrong as it presents that this is the only adopted standard. There is no adopted standard and this type of script is used in Macedonia only. In Albania and Romania a script developed by Acad. Matilda Caragiu Mariotean (https://ro.scribd.com/document/39767355/Matilda-Caragiu-Mario%C5%A3eanu-Un-dodecalog-al-aromanilor

is used by e.g. Romanian International Radio https://www.rri.ro/ro_ar/pages/home or Aromanian organizations in Albania Www.arumun.al

Further it is used by Romania Academy https://lingv.ro/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Atlasul-lingvistic-al-dialectului-aroman-ALDA.pdf
