NKVD[edit]

The suspicion of NKWD had perhaps some reasons here and its understable they did a thoruough interrogation. They were always suspicious to ALL surviving POW´s. But its wellknown active communists, and active female soviet soldiers, were typically murdered by the nazi germans without further discussion, often on place. Females by two reasons: Nazis didnt liked the idea of active female soldiers. And active female soldiers were volunteers, seldom constcripts. And thus, if not active communists so at least, active sympathizers. Hence, females from help-services taken POW could perhaps survive for a while, but seldom active front soldiers. Anna Yegorova is a living witness there could be exceptions. I presume the commanding officers whom took her POW was an anti-nazist, or at least a decent person. Which here hints, could also happen. For NKWD, a surviving party member AND a female soldier, must have been a scarce rarity/StefanZ83.223.9.173 (talk) 10:25, 11 September 2018 (UTC)StefanZ[reply]
