In my opinion, all the information about the Chachapoyas culture in this article should be transferred to Chachapoyas culture and deleted here because in the context of this Amazonas article it is too specific. -- Meister 09:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I have improved some of the wording. Fortunately I could do this mostly be deleting superfluous (and pompous-sounding) phrases. I don't claim to have finished the job, but I hope I have given it a push in the right direction.
