Information on plot[edit]

What to make of the fact that Nanako had every intention of burning the fish and breaking the plates, or rather breaking the plates so that "What will I serve the fishies on?" gives her an excuse to make the Hibachi malfunction, burning the fish but leaving the house smelling of fish, so when she then immediately announces that she will be serving Ham, the inhabitants are surpised. (at least the old man). Further evidence that she broke the plates intentionally is in the fact that in apologizing to Dr. Ogami, she says that she didn't realize the plates were in his family, indicating that she had discretion in breaking them. Also, Dr. Ogami writes a fake report to give to the Minister. Hackwrench 22:31, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
