Discussion[edit]

Isis deleted this page with the comment "moved article to 'aldhelm, bishop of sherborne' to obviate ambiguity with other possible aldhelms". Although I can agree with such a move, I disagree with the deletion of the page for that reason. Instead, 'Aldhelm' should be a redirect for now, and become a disambiguation page if at sometime we find there is another Aldhelm who is important enough to be mentioned in Wikipedia. Category:Benedictine mathematicians?[edit]

This guy's in this category for some reason, even though his article says nothing about him being involved with mathematics. Am I missing something? Archimaredes on a train (talk) 12:10, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

say what?[edit]

Under Contemporary Reputation, what does this mean? "Each of them is a complete picture?" A picture of what? 100.15.138.239 (talk) 16:17, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

AldhelmSaint Aldhelm – Saint Aldhelm's title should be included in the article name Vesuvio14 (talk) 11:41, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Per MOS:SAINT, we only use titles like "Saint" for disambiguation, and only if this is the most recognizable way to disambiguate the topic. Aldhelm is the primary and only topic here with that title, so there is no need for further disambiguation. –Austronesier (talk) 13:51, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
