Keahey elected to Lindsey's seat[edit]

I updated this to reflect that--Genovese12345 (talk) 00:16, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Henry Sanders' link leads to Wisconsin's Henry Sanders[edit]

Both Alabama and Wisconsin have politicians named Henry Sanders. The Alabama Henry Sanders goes by Hank Sanders. The link on this Alabama Senate page leads to the wrong Henry Sanders. In fact, I can find no page for Henry "Hank" Sanders of Alabama on Wikipedia. Can anyone else find his page? If so, it is simply a matter of fixing the link. Otherwise there is quite a glaring omission here.

A question[edit]

Has the Senate ever been controlled by Republicans (excluding Reconstruction). If so, it might be notable to mention it. Kostja (talk) 19:52, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kostja, I have heard remarks on television that the Alabama state senate hasn't been controlled by Republicans since the Civil War (or maybe they were talking about Whigs). It seems to be controlled by Republicans right now though! I have wondered the same thing as you.--FeralOink (talk) 07:02, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Our prison system[edit]

God god we have to do something and not set back and hear of all the deaths it’s becoming more more everyday why not let the non-violet criminal out that that have a year or less on their sentence I’m sure it’s the nonviolent ones that beat stabbed, beaten we have to start somewhere and that. Would be with the parole board granting more parole and community corrections.. I’m ashamed to say I live in Alabama the way we treat other human beings this way the food has weevils. And the meat says not for human consumption my gosh please … god help us help these. Prisoners before it’s gets worse Amen and thank you 68.191.137.91 (talk) 14:34, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
