Talk:Advaita

ADVAITA'14

Disamb-page[edit]

"Advaita" may refer to several Indian traditions, not just "Advaita Vedanta." If it is to be used as a redirect, it should redirect to Nondualism. See, for example, its ausage as a link at Kundalini. Kundalini is definitely not Advaita Vedanta. Best regards, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 14:46, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I see the problem. Too many pages link to this page. I've changed the redirect to Nondualism#Advaita - identity of Atman and the Absolute; that section covers Advaita Vedanta, but also some other Advaita-traditions. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 14:52, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, over 440 pages link to Advaita. Those which are not intended to link to Advaita Vedanta should be corrected to link to the correct page. If you intend to pull that page off of primary topic status, then all 440+ links will need to be fixed, to not link to the disambiguation page. I expect a lot of the fixes would look like this: [[Advaita Vedanta|Advaita]]: Advaita. – Wbm1058 (talk) 14:47, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hm, way to go... Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 16:16, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
