On October 15, in an interview with CNN, President Yitzhak Herzog revealed the document "The Captive Kidnapping Plan", found on the body of one of the terrorists, which details the instructions given to the terrorists on how to act when kidnapping the hostages. Among the trainings it is stated that the kidnappers must create chaos and intimidation through coercion and blindfolding of the captives, the use of electric shocks and the execution of any person who may pose a threat or distraction. The captors were also instructed to use the captives as cannon fodder if necessary. Also, in a method similar to the terrorist organization ISIS, the terrorists were required to record their actions live, and during the IDF attacks to execute the captives.
