Name of article[edit]

The image of the official logo used suggests, rather srongly, that the event would be more properly described as the "2014 Wales Summit"? Martinevans123 (talk) 12:33, 3 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, both NATO itself [1] and the UK government [2] are calling this the "Wales Summit", not the "Newport Summit". We should change the name of the article to reflect the official name. --Tocino 06:31, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Except that no other NATO summit article titles give the name of the country - they all give the name of the city. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:17, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
So it seems we've been conistently wrong or NATO have changed their naming policy? Martinevans123 (talk)
It may well not be a change in "policy", so much as someone in the Pentagon saying "where the &^*! is Newport ?" But I agree that, for an international audience, we should use the official title. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:49, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

outcome section[edit]

It would be nice to have a little filler below each bulleted topic explaining briefly their entailment. -OR- each bullet should lead to an article explaining fully the alliance's position Thanx~ Doyna Yar (talk) 04:11, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
