Name[edit]

Unless I have misread it, all the sources in this article use the term "riots" rather than "pogroms" to describe the event. Also, searching for "oujda and djerada" in googlebooks shows many more references to riots than to pogroms ("oujda and jerada" comes up with nothing). I will change the title to "1948 Anti-Jewish Riots in Oujda and Jerada", unless any objections. Oncenawhile (talk) 21:56, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Number of emigrants[edit]

The source given is pretty dubious on the number of Jews that subsequently emigrated. According to Israel immigration statistics, the number of Jewish emigrants from Morocco dropped from about 8,000 in 1948-49, to 5,000 in 1950.
