The fact that the bridge was officially designated as the "Alma Lee Loy Bridge" is sourced. So the issue of sourcing has nothing to do with the proposed move. In fact, there isn't any good source for calling it the "17th Street Bridge" because that's how you give a name to a bridge has no official designation! This is a case of WP:SNOW. I don't doubt the bridge was officially renamed. But what is common usage in reliable sources? Simple being an official name is not enough to make it the correct title (cf. 14th Street Bridge (Potomac River), Main Street Bridge (Jacksonville), and others with titles that are not official names). —  AjaxSmack  17:02, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Rationale is contrary to policy, which nom seems not to have read despite many, many notices urging editors to do this before proposing or supporting moves. (And they don't appear to have read or understood WP:SNOW before quoting it above, either.)
