The men's 100 metre breaststroke competition of the swimming events at the 1967 Pan American Games took place on 30 July at the Pan Am Pool.[1][2] It was the first appearance of this event in the Pan American Games.[3][4][5][6][7][8]

This race consisted of two lengths of the pool, both lengths being in breaststroke.[9]
