Rollback

User:Victor Trevor

Hi. I would like to request rollback rights for assist with reverting vandalism at recent changes. I have read the rollback guideline. If granted, I don't want "(using userRightsManager)" written in the summary. Thank you. --Victor Trevor (talk) 11:06, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Pretty good anti-vandalism work, but why you don't like "(using userRightsManager)" in edit summary? –Ctrlwiki (talk) 11:17, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the comment, @Ctrlwiki. It looks weird. --Victor Trevor (talk) 11:25, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That is auto-generated edit summary which provided when the administrator is using that tool, it is like the Rollback that has auto-generated edit summary, and you can't change or remove it. –Ctrlwiki (talk) 11:32, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You were recently indefinitely blocked on your home wiki for what appears to be sockpuppetry. I'm not so sure we should be granting you advanced permissions so soon. Ping for @Vincent Vega in case they have any thoughts. -FASTILY 23:11, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Victor Trevor blocked due to this case. According to this case CU Elmacenderesi determined V. Trevor is a meatpuppet of Niveles who is a long term abuser. I will give access V. Trevor to edit message page soon, so I think this request should be hold until V. Trevor’s justification finish. Vincent Vega mesaj? 05:14, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I primarily patrol RecentChanges and revert vandalism. I use Twinkle and RedWarn to do this. I am requesting for Rollback to use Huggle as Huggle is a great tool to counter vandalism but require rollback right. Thanks Zsohl (Talk) 11:33, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

 Done -FASTILY 01:41, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting rollback rights I request rollback rights to help fight vandalism, doing this in a quicker way. I have been using RedWarn for some time. While I recently had a block, it was due to discussion handling. The orginal block disruptive behavior was for 3 hours (a rather minor block). The 3 months long one was for how I handled the discussion after. The disruptive editing was a result of me not knowing that there were constraints in the sandbox, which I now know.  Not done I declined your last request a month ago, in which I asked you to establish a track record of good edits. Between the time of my decline and the time you filed this request, you've made exactly 8 edits, including two malformed requests for rollback (1, 2), in which you also doctored my comments to make it appear as if the decline never happened. Let me be frank with you: if you're trying to convince us that you're ready for advanced permissions, this isn't the way to go about it. -FASTILY 01:41, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
