Joshua Wolson is an American lawyer from Pennsylvania and is an announced nominee to be a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Education
Wolson earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.[1]
Legal career
Upon graduating law school he law clerk to Judge Jan E. DuBois of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.[1]
Previously Wolson practiced in the litigation and antitrust groups of Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C.
He is currently a partner in the litigation group of Dilworth Paxson, where he has practiced since 2008. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation matters, including antitrust, RICO, intellectual property, procurement, and civil rights disputes. He also serves as a co-chair of the firm’s Plaintiffs’ Rights Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.[1]
Intent to nominate to district court
On May 10, 2018 President Trump announced his intent to nominate Wolson to serve as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
