Elder Michaux was a religious TV show on the now-defunct DuMont Television Network, hosted by evangelist Solomon Lightfoot Michaux (1883-1968). The show was 30 minutes long, originating at DuMont's station WTTG in Washington, D. C., and ran from October 17, 1948 to January 9, 1949.[1] The program was among the earliest U.S. television shows with an African American host.[2]
