English: Clarion Van number One - It was in The Clarion's pages that, in February 1896, Dawson announced her idea to organise a Clarion Van tour and appealed for donations.[13] The van would be horse-drawn and, staffed by women and it would travel the country to distribute socialist literature.[13] Open-air meetings would be addressed by socialist speakers - from here - guess 1897
