Oakville East is a future federal electoral district in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. Its Oakville counterpart is the newly created Oakville West.
Following the 2022 Canadian federal electoral redistribution, it will first be contested at the first election held after April 22, 2024.[2]
Geography[edit]
Consists of that part of the Town of Oakville lying northerly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the northwesterly limit of said town and Sixteen Mile Creek; thence generally easterly along said creek to Lake Ontario; thence southeasterly in a straight line to the southeasterly limit of said town.The riding will include that part of the Town of Oakville that lies east of Sixteen Mile Creek.[3]

It was created in 2023 as "Oakville East" from parts of Oakville and Oakville North—Burlington.

Upcoming federal election[edit]
The next federal election must be called on October 2, 2025, however the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau does have the authority to call the election whenever he wishes. Although recent polls indicate a massive majority win for the Conservatives if an election was called in the near future and a win in Oakville and other Halton ridings. Based on this data many Conservatives are interested in becoming the next elections conservative candidate for this newly created riding.
Conservative nomination election candidates[edit]
Conservatives within the riding vote on which person they want to represent them in the upcoming election as the next Conservative Candidate. On April 24th 2024 the party closed the nomination for election and all memberships for the election must be purchased within 48 hours.
