Charles L. Humes (19 February 1904 – 22 September 1950)[1] was an American journalist and columnist in New Jersey's Courier-Post newspaper. He penned the Life Hereabouts column for the Courier-Post in the late 1940s.
Early Life and education[edit]
Charles L. Humes (Charley) was born in Camden New Jersey on February, 19; 1904 to Charles T. Humes Jr. and Lydia Hill. His father was a police officer later a traffic inspector in Camden.
