Alfie Cicale (born 19 April 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a wing back for Veikkausliiga club VPS.
Early career[edit]
Cicale played in the Norwich City youth academy. He has studied and played for Oxford Jesus College university team.[1][2][3]
Club career[edit]
In March 2024, Cicale was invited for a trial to Finnish Veikkausliiga club Vaasan Palloseura (VPS). On 21 March 2024, he signed a two-year deal with the club, his first professional contract after playing college football in England.[4][5] He debuted with his new club on 7 April 2024, in the opening game of the 2024 Veikkausliiga season against Haka, helping his side to get a 2–1 away victory.[6] On 27 April 2024, Cicale scored his first professional senior goal, a winning goal in a 2–1 league victory over AC Oulu.[7][8][9]
